Rep. Mark Green (R-WI)

Mark Andrew Green was a Republican member of the U. S. House of Representatives representing the Eighth Congressional District of Wisconsin from 1999 to 2007. He served as an Assistant Majority Whip in the 109th Congress. Green announced he would not seek re-election to Congress in 2006 and would instead run for Governor of Wisconsin against Democratic incumbent Jim Doyle. He ultimately lost to Doyle.
